Watch: Klay Thompson hits Steph Curry’s signature shimmy after drilling 3-pointer vs. Mavs

Steph Curry’s shimmy dance has turned into his signature celebration after he laces a clutch 3-pointer. Yet, in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals against the Dallas Mavericks, it wasn’t Curry shimmying; it was one of his Golden State Warriors teammates.

With the Warriors surging, Klay Thompson connected on a 3-pointer that set the Chase Center crowd into a frenzy. Following his 3 to give Golden State a 13-point lead in the second quarter, Thompson broke out Curry’s shimmy. Thompson’s shimmy 3-pointer was his fourth of the first half against the Mavs.

With a 120-110 victory over the Mavs in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals, Thompson and the Warriors punched a return ticket to the NBA Finals. The Warriors will await the winner of the Eastern Conference finals between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat.
