Krakatau (Sunda Strait, Indonesia): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 8000 ft (2400 m) altitude or flight level 080 .
The full report is as follows: VA TO FL080 OBS AT 11/0900Z MOV E OBS VA DTG:11/1640Z to 8000 ft (2400 m)

Semeru (East Java, Indonesia): (11 May) Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Darwin (VAAC) issued the following report: VONA STATE ERUPTION TO FL140 AT 10/2307Z MON NW

Ruapehu (North Island): (11 May) The volcanic-seismic unrest of the volcano continues to be elevated.
Steam and gas emissions over the Crater Lake (Te Wai ā-moe), detected last week, were confirmed of non-eruptive origin. Instead, they were associated with a combination of increased heat flow and cold atmospheric conditions.

Kilauea (Hawai’i): As of May 10, 2022, eruption of lava from the Halemaʻumaʻu western vent into the active lava lake and onto the crater floor has continued.

The active lava lake has shown continuous surface activity, but it’s surface level has dropped slightly since May 9, 2022.

Lava ooze-out activity near the northeastern margin continued as did the activity along the southeastern margin, but the vigor of the activity decreased.

Semisopochnoi (United States, Aleutian Islands): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Anchorage warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 5000 ft (1500 m) altitude or flight level 050 and is moving at 25 kts in WNW direction.
The full report is as follows: LOW LEVEL VA EMISSIONS. to 5000 ft (1500 m)
…11 May:
The low-level explosive activity at the volcano continues.
On the 9th of May afternoon, the Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) surveillance camera’s observed dense ash emissions from the north crater of Mount Cerberus that reached 6,000 ft (1,800 m) altitude dissipating towards the W-NW.

Cleveland (Aleutian Islands, Alaska): (11 May) The Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) raised the alert level for the volcano to “yellow”, as elevated surface temperatures and sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions have been detected in satellite data over the past few days.
Rapid detection of an ash-producing eruption may be possible using a combination of seismic, infrasound, lightning, and satellite data. Eruptions from Cleveland volcano typically generate small clouds of volcanic ash that are a hazard in the immediate vicinity of the volcano, though more significant ash emissions are possible.

Yellowstone (Wyoming, USA): The University of Utah Seismograph Stations reported that a light earthquake of magnitude 4.2 occurred at 07:32 AM on May 11, 2022 (MDT).

The epicenter of the shock was located 23 mi NE of the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park.

Anyone who felt the earthquake is encouraged to fill out a survey form on the US Geological Survey website for this event.

Fuego (Guatemala): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 15000 ft (4600 m) altitude or flight level 150 .
The full report is as follows: VA OBS FM STLT to 15000 ft (4600 m)

Nevado del Ruiz (Colombia): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 22000 ft (6700 m) altitude or flight level 220 and is moving at 10 kts in N direction.
The full report is as follows: VA EMS OBS FM STLT AND RPTD IN VONA to 22000 ft (6700 m)

Sangay (Ecuador): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 19000 ft (5800 m) altitude or flight level 190 .
The full report is as follows: VA & GAS EMS OBS FM STLT to 19000 ft (5800 m)

Reventador (Ecuador): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 15000 ft (4600 m) altitude or flight level 150 .
The full report is as follows: PSBL VA ACT CONT to 15000 ft (4600 m)

Sabancaya (Peru): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Buenos Aires warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 23000 ft (7000 m) altitude or flight level 230 and is moving at 10 kts in NE direction.
The full report is as follows: INTERMITTENT EMISSION to 23000 ft (7000 m)
