Summer League in Review: Recap | August 5, 2022

This was a really fun and exciting Summer League for Thunder fans. Most of the roster was out there on the floor competing for 5+ games which is not something you see often. We got to see Chet Holmgren play five games when top prospects normally get shut down after a couple, and we got seven games of Jalen Williams, a lottery pick who is expected to get plenty of minutes this upcoming season. That isn’t even mentioning five games of Josh Giddey, as he played multiple contests while other sophomores like Corey Kispert didn’t play at all.

This summer showcased a lot of future talent on this team (check out all 16 players profiled below) and it’s pretty exciting to be a Thunder fan; I can’t wait for the season to start. It’s going to be a long three months until the regular season is here, but stay tuned to Daily Thunder for ongoing coverage this offseason, along with some exciting changes on the horizon.
