Cathay Pacific Plans to Increase Flights Between Hong Kong and India: Report

Cathay Pacific, one of the largest airlines headquartered in Hong Kong has shared its plans to increase flights between India and Hong Kong. After the government lifted the ban on international flights on March 27, Cathay Pacific in no time started flying service to India. The airline started flying to Mumbai and Delhi on May 4 and May 6, respectively.

The airline resumed operations from Delhi and Mumbai with three flights in May. But in June, the airline will increase the number of flights to eight from Mumbai and nine from Delhi. This is a positive sign for business travellers between both countries.

Further, the aviation sector of India will benefit a lot because of the move. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the worst-hit sectors was aviation.
