2022 NFL Draft: Rookie contracts for every quarterback drafted

The 2022 NFL Draft is firmly in the rearview mirror. And unlike some of the past years, it wasn’t one in which quarterbacks stole the show. Nine signal-callers heard their names called total, and Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett (Pittsburgh Steelers) was the lone signal-caller selected in the first-round. A trio of quarterbacks went off the board in the third round before five more were called, including Iowa State’s Brock Purdy (San Francisco 49ers) as the final pick in the draft.

Rookies are now in the stage of finalizing their deals with their respective teams, and contract numbers are becoming public in that process. Unsurprisingly, Pickett’s deal is in a category of its own among rookie quarterbacks, given his status as a first-rounder, more than doubling the total value of every other rookie quarterback deal reported.
